Assalamualaikum....lama tak berblog. Sibuk dan malas. Dah ada anak 2 orang dah. 3 tahun dan 2 tahun. Penatnya. Sekarang sambung belajar lagi. Baru habis 2 tahun rotation di 3 hospital kat semenanjung. Sekarang dah kat Kuching semula. Nak pergi UK bulan depan ni (2 minggu sebelum raya) . kena buat clinical attachment 7 bulan kat UK sebagai syarat sambung belajar. Tahun depan balik dan exam bulan 3 2020. Insya Allah
Tujuan kali ni cuma nak bagi information macamana cara nak pohon visa ke UK. ...Susahnya. Susah sbb banyak yang diminta, kena check satu-satu. No chance of any mistake or error. once visa rejected, kena cari tempat lain untuk attachment sbb biasanya ambil masa lama nak reapply
banyak blog dari Malaysia saya search dalam google untuk panduan. kebanyakan nya yang lama 2012, 2014, 2016. semuanya student visa untuk tier 4. sedangkan syarat visa akan berubah setiap masa/tahun.
Yang terbaru pun dari indonesia, tapi indonesia lain sikit. sebab dia bukan commonwelth , jadi nak pergi UK satu hari pun kena visa. Malaysian pergi UK less than 6 month tak perlu visa.

Panjang cerita, jadi saya akan buat beberapa posting. saya cuba bagitau Berapa cost duit habis sebelum sampai UK. Sebelum tu saya akan buat sedikit summary. Semoga semuanya bermanafaat untuk semua.
1. If Malaysian want to go to UK with total duration of less than 6 month for any purpose , no need visa.
2. the Most important thing in getting a visa to UK are:
i. strong ties with your country of residence- this need to be proven on paper. we just cannot say in verbal. eg. you have permanent employment proved by a letter with letter head of employer , bank statement showing a monthly salary of at least 6 months backdated. if you are employed, must show an approved onleave latter (if you are going for long duration let say more than a month). all this will prove that you will come back to Malaysia after you visit in UK is over. Return ticket sometimes not accepted as a strong prove.
ii. You must have money to spend in UK! if you are going to outside London must have at least GBP 1,012 perperson in account for a month expenses. same price for 1 kid. no discount. This is useful if you are going more than a month. inside london. i cannot remember, can check at www. gov.uk website.
a suspicious can raise at immigration border if you said you will be in UK for a month for a holiday. Because people are going there usually for 2 weeks plus minus. then they will start checking your purpose and detail and account bank. the main issue is they don't want us to get the public fund.
However, Malaysia is considered as low risk country. Thanks for that. so sometimes, not much question been asked. Unlike..just to give an example, India..where a lot of their people are trying to get there for working and settlement.
3. Translate all supportive document requested by UKVI (UK visa immigration) in english.
this includes birth certificate, marriage certificate, kid ID (if bringing family), all necessary degree cert, payslip. they have a list of supporting document as required. and how and technique of translation also in the written in the website.
if using international translation - can apply only, it cost me RM 130 per page (depend on how many word). Buts its easy and quick. i used lyriclab.com.my. they will ask the reason then they will follow the rules as provided by such country visa requirement
then payslip i used Mahkamah in Kuching....i thought its cheaper. because its just number. its cost me RM 80 per page. 6 month salary 6 x RM 80 = RM 480. semput kejap.
in previous blog they said RM 4 ringgit in 2014.
just make sure you have to print guideline, so that they will know how to do translate it
just remember, our green birth certificate is in english. But the your data is written in Malay. so need to translate also
Our driving licence is in english.
4. patient..patient...and patient while filling up the online visa form
read--read...read
check..check..and check what has been written
i did it at midnight while my kids are sleeping till the suboh. a lot of document checking while doing that.
it took me almost a month to complete it. because, i cannot do it everyday.
5. visa to UK can be submitted 3 months prior to the travel time. but you can fill it up earlier
i did a mistake, start opening the website for online application at 3 months prior to travel.submit one month later. a lot of time wasted.
means you can filling up earlier.
6. UK visa require 10 years travel history to other country. must remember the detail the entry date. cannot lie. they have baseline data to check. Australia or US visa just need 5 year travel history.
if you never travel to other country before, high chance it will be rejected(as per discussion in the blog online).
7. Don't ever ever lie in the application form. they are really expert in detecting it. if you have salary per month this much and this much, but don't have saving/properties. just answer NO for a question regarding saving or properties. Once they detected you are lying, the reason of rejection will be permanently recorded in the database. it will not only affect the entry to UK but also to other country that required visa.
8. last but not list - IDENTIFY YOUR TYPE OF VISA. its based on purpose to UK
once its wrong at the beginning then you will start submitting the wrong application. definitely it will be rejected. different visa has different set of form/question
for this its took me almost 2 weeks to find out.
i emailed to one of agency provided by the one of blog to identify my type of visa based on my purpose of clinical training. He emailed back saying that they only expert in student visa tier 4
clinical training have few meanings in UKVI...training with pay, observation training without pay, clinical research, exchange programme training, clinical expert as speakers.
But with the Allah Almighty help, i managed to get answer for this after asking and email few peoples...my visa is STANDARD VISITOR VISA (ACADEMIC) ..magic word
